I'm an Applied AI & Product Engineer- recently transitioned from a long career in Product Management.
At first it might look like a strange move. In practice, the timing feels almost suspiciously good: in times when writing code is becoming a commodity and it’s easy to ship software end-to-end, strong product sense and expertise become increasingly the real game changer for shipping what matters. And that's the muscle I've spent 20 years exercising.
My passion for engineering is nothing new: I took my first programming course when I was 12 and shipped my first program on a floppy disk. A few years ago I decided to take that passion seriously with a full-stack Software Engineering program and later an AI Engineering one.
But the deeper schooling came earlier: years spent working alongside highly skilled engineers in very technical teams, learning what solid engineering actually demands: maintainable architecture, testing, observability, scalability, and reliability.
It’s crazy how much of those learnings are coming together: with a solid AI-assisted development setup, I get to apply the skills I've honed for years (from Product, Design and Engineering), hands-on. And it’s a lot of fun!
I'm based in Berlin, available remotely. Open to roles where hands-on engineering meets product thinking.
